Yoga means union between individual soul and the universal soul.

There are different types of yoga (Bahkti yoga, Karma yoga, Jnana Yoga and so on). Hatha yoga, which we are going to practice during this retreat, is the most known type of yoga nowadays.

The aim of Hatha yoga is to bring balance between two forces, sun and moon, positive and negative, so that mind and body can be in total harmony.

It was and is a purification system of mind and body. Wrong habits and attitudes are going to be replaced naturally with the right ones through daily practice. Concentration and meditation will come along and will help one discover the real self, self-realization, which is the final aim of Hatha Yoga.
